Instead of overreacting say, “WE LOVE EACH OTHER. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF I SPOKE TO YOU THAT WAY?”

After a calm period, ASK for an APOLOGY and GUIDE the child toward a better decision with QUESTIONS!

DON’T fly off the handle because I DON’T LIKE YOU is not life or death!!!
