TO IMPROVE RELATIONSHIPS: MAKE REQUESTS, DO NOT JUST COMPLAIN!

To improve your relationships, ask for verbal or behavior changes.  Complaining and criticizing do not make a positive difference in any relationship.  Instead, make a request in the form of a question with “Will you please . . .”  followed by a solution.

Complaining and criticizing are easy but it takes courage to ask for what is wanted or expected in order to create a solid connection.  Always take action with requests because that is seeking solutions for a stronger bond.  Make “Will you please . . .” a regular part of your relationship vocabulary.

Please spread the word about the three-time National award-winning marriage book, Simple Habits For Marital Happiness, with family members, friends, neighbors, and contacts in ways that are most comfortable for you.
