TIME-OUT WITH AN APOLOGY AND OBEDIENCE STATEMENT!

Time-out is probably the most used parenting tool. Rather than use the minute-per-age rule, with a TIME-OUT I believe an APOLOGY and OBEDIENCE STATEMENT is ABSOLUTELY BEST! 1st, a child APOLOGIZES, “I am sorry I did not listen. WILL YOU PLEASE FORGIVE ME?” 2nd, “I am ready to obey and make a better decision.” Then, a child may leave time-out!
